Apply AP (Andhra Pradesh) Epass Scholarship Online 2022-23

The government of Andhra Pradesh, Welfare Department provides an AP ePass scholarship scheme for all eligible and desirous candidates every year. The state govt. offer 2 types of scholarships namely pre-matric and post-matric.

Andhra Pradesh Govt. is providing financial assistance to students who are considered economically weak. It is a good opportunity for the students who belong to BC/ EBC /SC/ ST / and Disabled categories.

ePass is a Government Aided scholarship program. The program is started to provide financial support to economically backward students. The main aim of the Epass is to help worthy students who cannot afford further education.

Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the AP ePASS application form and apply online from the official website epass.apcfss.in on or before the last date.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates belong to SC, ST, BC, and Disabled students of class 5th to 10th and whose parents/guardians’ annual income is 2 lakh or below.

• Whose attendance is at least 75%?

AP Epass Scholarship

Non-Eligibility:

  • Candidates who do not belong to the SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribes), BC (Backward Class), EBC (Extremely Backward Class), and Disabled categories.
  • SC, ST, BC, and Disabled student’s parent’s annual income is above 2 Lakh rupees.
  • Students who are pursuing online or part-time courses.
  • Students who have taken admission under any sponsored or management quota.
  • Students who are studying from any open university and distance learning.
  • EBC candidates studying Class 12th (intermediate) or any equivalent courses.

RTF: RTF (Reimbursement of Tuition Fee) for candidates continuing post-matric courses approved by the board. Reimbursement of tuition fees is sanctioned two times a year in a month Sep and in March of each year.

MTF: MTF (Maintenance or Mess charges) will be sanctioned every month.

Eligible Courses:

Post-matric courses approved by the concerned board for a period of one year and above:

Group-1 Professional courses.
Group-2 Technical graduate courses and post-graduate courses, graduate diplomas, and certificate courses.
Group-3 Degree courses that are not covered in groups 1 and 2) and National Institute of Fashion Technology courses.
Group-4 Class 12th (intermediate), ITI / ITCs, and any vocational courses.

Non-eligible Courses: 

Scholarships awards will not be given for training courses such as:

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME).
• Private Pilot license (PPL).
• Courses offered by any Pre-examination Training Centres.

Eligible Colleges:

All post-matric colleges of Andhra Pradesh recognized by AP Govt.

Timeline:

Submission of online application within a month from the admission date.

Reasons for Rejection:

  • If the candidate is not a bonafide student.
  • Incorrect caste certificate.
  • Incorrect income certificate.
  • Non-submission of income and caste certificates.
  • Incorrect courses and the year of study.
  • Non-submission of hard copy of the application.
  • If the candidate is not present physically.
  • Students admitted under sponsored or management quotas.
  • Discontinued and detained students for application renewal.
  • Claiming scholarship award for same-level courses.
  • Non-receiving of hard copy for a fresh application.
  • Non-receiving of a renewal application.
  • Not recommended by ASWO/ Field Officer.

How to Apply for the AP Epass Scholarship Online?

Students may apply online from the official website https://epass.apcfss.in on or before the last date. Fresh students should take a printout of the application for submission in college along with relevant certificates.

  • Login to https://epass.apcfss.in e-Pass website.
  • Select a pre-matric or post-matric scheme.
  • Click on registration and fill out the application form.
  • Upload all the required documents.
  • Submit the application form online.
  • Write download your application number to check and track the status of your application online.

How to Check AP Epass Scholarship Status Online?

  • Visit the official website https://epass.apcfss.in.
  • Select a status for Post-matric or Pre-matric.
  • Enter the application number.
  • Select the academic year.
  • Enter the SSC exam number.
  • Enter the year of the SSC pass.
  • Select SSC pass type.
  • Enter the date of birth.
  • Then click on the “GetStatus” button.
  • The application status will appear on your screen.
