How to Apply for Ration Card Online in AP?

Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies, Government of Andhra Pradesh (AP) is playing an important role in marketing Consumer Affairs and in protecting the rights of every consumer in the State. To protect the Consumer’s rights, to increase awareness, to enable them to protect themselves, and to focus on various aspects.

The objectives are to implement various programs on consumer affairs to educate the consumers about their rights and responsibilities, restrictive and unfair trade practices so as to fulfill their wants in availing services through ration card (Ahara Bhadratha Card) in all the district East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Sri Potti Sri Ramulu Nellore, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rayalaseema, Kurnool, Chittoor, Kadapa, and Anantapur.

Motivate the existing consumer voluntary organizations to take up consumer awareness schemes in all the districts including rural and urban areas and also to involve them in the awareness programs organized by the Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies Department.

Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies, Government of Andhra Pradesh was actually a regulatory Department. Its activities include procurement of food grains under MSP, distribution of commodities like Rice, Masoor Dal, Wheat, Sugar, Kerosene, Sweet Oil through ration card (Ahara Bhadratha Card) on fair price shops under the same Public Distribution System at a subsidized price through an issue of computerized cards, consumer affairs, distribution of LPG connections to Belo Poverty Line women, etc.

Evolves policy for issuing ration cards to the eligible families with the supply of essential commodities by the Andhra Pradesh State Civil Supplies Department. Monitoring of rates of essential commodities for controlling the open market prices. Organizes enrollment of people under Adhaar Card as Registrar in the State for Adhaar Project.

Arranges a Consumer awareness program through Consumer Clubs, Consumer Information Centre, Consumer Protection Council, Consumer Redressal, Consumer Organizations, Consumer Welfare Fund, Viniyoga Tarangini, Work Shops, and Seminars.

• Online ration card or food security card search.
• Enter your old ration card number.
• Or you can enter the Aadhaar card number.
• Then click on the search button.
• If the ration card application is pending with the login user it will show in the dashboard.
• Your ration card details will display on your computer screen.

How to Apply Andhra Pradesh (AP) Ration Card Card Online?

• Go to the official website https://epds.ap.gov.in.
• Enter all the required details.
• Select the card type BPL, APL, AAY.
• Enter gas connection details like consumer no, connection status, company name
• Enter a permanent address.
• Add member details.
• Then add informant details.
• Along with the application Form take a copy of the ID Proof Document, Photo.
• Then upload your documents online.
