• Food establishment license- this license is given to restaurants, food stalls, or hotels along with organizations that sell vegetables or meat.

You are eligible to apply for a trade license if you are 18 years and above. To be able to apply for a trade license the business owners must have zero criminal records, and the business should not involve any illegal activity.

How to Apply for Trade License Certificate Online?

You can apply for a trader license and before you do, make sure you have all the documents ready.

• Visit the official website of the Municipal Corporation and then upload the required documents to apply for a trader’s license certificate.

• Your application must be sent to Sanitary Inspector and you will receive an SMS along with an e-mail with details of the inspection of your business.

• The inspection details will be given and the inspection will be done on the same date and time. An inspection report will be prepared and then you will have to pay a required fee depending on your office.

• The report will be given to the Municipal health officer, and if required, another inspection will be done. The file will be sent to the commissioner and if there are no faults found, the demand notice will be made available to the business owner.

• The applicant can pay the fee and download the same from the portal. You can directly download the trade license certificate or number.

How to Renew a Traders License?

If your trade license gets expired, you have to apply 30 days before the expiry of the license for renewal. The trade license should be maintained every year to run your business without any inconvenience.
