Apply Uttarakhand Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Students Online
Social Welfare Department (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag), Uttarakhand is providing scholarships to the permanent residents of Uttarakhand for SC, ST, OBC, and students with disabilities, who are studying in a recognized institution in any district of Uttarakhand in class I to class XII.
Under this scheme, scholarship awards shall be given to poor and deserving candidates studying in high schools. The applicant should be regular in school and the applicant should be a native of Uttarakhand
- Pre-matric for 1st to 10th class students.
- For post-matric 11th-12th classes. The applicant must have passed the 10th standard.
The Social Welfare Department (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag) facilitates the scholarship to the students of SC, ST, and OBC categories. Uttarakhand scholarship process has been made online for the pre-matric & post-matric from the year 2015 to 2016.
One scholarship application per applicant is allowed for the renewal process in one academic year. All the duplicate and rejected applications have been removed from the renewal process. Those who have already registered online, do not register again, just sign in with the existing login details renewal application.
Uttarakhand scholarship applications of the students studying outside the state will be forwarded online by their respective institutes. For the last date of submission and other information kindly visit the Uttarakhand scholarship official website.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants should be a resident of Uttarakhand State.
- Students should pursue post-matric courses from a recognized university.
- The student should have passed the previous examination.
- Applicants should be from SC, ST, or OBC category, although students of a general category can apply for disability.
- Students should not have done any professional courses before applying for the scholarship.
- Individuals should not avail of any other scholarship from any other source.
- Uttarakhand scholarship will be admissible to those students whose parent’s annual income is not more than Rs.250000/- (Rupees two lakh fifty thousand) for SC & ST students and Rs.15,0000/-(up to one lakh fifty thousand) for OBC students.
- Applicants are required to apply for scholarships in their institute.
- All scholarship schemes for the academic year 2022-23 are required to enter the Aadhaar number in the scholarship application.
- This scholarship is provided under the rules set by the Government of India.
- Uttarakhand scholarship should be admissible from the date of admission.
- Individuals studying outside the state will have to submit the application form along with the letter of the concerned institution to the District Social Welfare Officer of the district of his residence.
- The scholarship is only for Indian nationals.
- Only those students are eligible who belongs to SC/ ST/ OBC category.
- Students should not avail of any other scholarship award.

The online scholarship application is divided into 3 sections:
- Apply for a new scholarship.
- Renewal of scholarship applications for already registered students.
- Documents and photo uploading for all students.
The application will be considered complete only when all 3 sections are completed. Students have to fill out the application form carefully as there is no provision for institutional change once the application submits successfully. All necessary must be carefully scanned as per the instruction given in the student manual.
Only one application per applicant will be acceptable, if any student submits more than one application either from a single institute or from multiple institutions his/her all applications will be rejected by the competent authority and no request from any side will be entertained.
How to Apply for Uttarakhand Scholarship Online?
Students may apply for a scholarship application form online at NSP’s official website scholarships.gov.in. Fill out the form, and upload the required documents.

All students can renew their applications online. Click the link “Scholarship Application Renewal for All Students” on the home page. Once logged in successfully you will see the renewal form. Read the guidelines carefully before renewing your application.
Editing the Application:
Applicants can edit the application online if it is temporarily rejected by the concerned authority. Students can access that edit link under the menu name “Edit Scholarship Application”. Students should not submit another application otherwise it will become a duplicate and both applications will be rejected.

Every year the Karnataka State Government provides post-matric scholarships for all eligible students through the ePass application. It is one of the most important welfare measures initiated by the Karnataka Backward Class Welfare Department. The main aim is the educational upliftment of poor students.
Currently, the Backward Classes Welfare Department has a separate Commission, continuing programs to provide backward classes with social justice, educational incentives, and financial assistance to the community.
With the last date for application approaching, students are encouraged to avail of this opportunity to further their education. The scholarship covers tuition fees, maintenance allowance, and more, easing the burden on students and their families.

Kar Epass Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants who belong to SC and ST categories and whose parent’s income is not more than Rs.2 lakhs per annum from all sources are eligible to apply.
- Those belonging to Backward Class (BC), Extremely Backward Class (EBC), and Disabled whose parent’s income is not more than Rs.1 lakhs per annum from all sources are eligible for kar epass scholarship.
- Students with a minimum of 75% attendance are eligible to apply to the scheme.
- Applicants who are studying post-matric in college are recognized by the Karnataka State Govt.
- Students admitted under any sponsored quota or management quota seats are not eligible.

Kalpana Chawla Scholarship Scheme (Chatravriti Yojana) 2023-24
The Government of Himachal Pradesh provides Kalpana Chawla Chhatravriti Yojana or also known as the Kalpana Chawla scholarship scheme for the top meritorious girl students of Himachal Pradesh state in order to inspire them for higher education.

It is to inform all the eligible students that the HP e-Pass portal reopens for the Kalpana Chawla scholarship scheme and other schemes for the academic year 2023-24 for fresh/renewal applicants. No application form would be entertained after the last date.
Under this scheme, an amount of Rs.15000/- (Fifteen Thousand) will be provided to the student per year. It will be given strictly on 10+2 merit declared as such by the H.P Board of School Education, Dharamshala to the students of Government / Government Aided / Private schools affiliated with the H.P. Board of School Education.
Scholarships will be awarded to the girl students who take admitted as regular students in any recognized post 10+2, academic, professional, or technical course from any government-aided or recognized private institution for its full term subject to satisfactory performance each year.
The scholarship will be renewed and carried on till they complete the degree/diploma/certificate course. All the eligible students will have to apply online and submit the application along with a 10+2 certificate, the next successive passing class/ diploma certificate/admission certificate directly to the Director of Higher Education.

How to Apply for Kalpana Chawla Scholarship 2023-24?
- All eligible and meritorious Students can register on the portal by using the link https://scholarships.gov.in.
- After registration on the portal, students may apply for the scheme.
- Students also need to submit the printout of the online application form along with all the necessary certificates directly to the head of the institute.
- Students must submit the previous year’s mark sheet (both semesters) for renewal application and a 10+2 mark sheet for fresh registration.
- Printout copies of all documents uploaded must be submitted at the academic branch.
- The income certificate should be in the name of the parents and the certificate should not be older than one year.
- 2024 is the last date to apply online at the NSP portal.

Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana (Scholarship Scheme) 2023-24
Himachal Pradesh is pleased to notify the following guidelines for the implementation of the scholarship of Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chhatravriti Yojna for 2023-24 in the H.P. Education department.
This scholarship will be awarded to the top 100 female and 100 male students who belong to the tribal community of Himachal Pradesh by the H.P. board of school education, strictly on the basis of merit 10+1 and 10+2 classes in a recognized institution within or outside the state. The renewal in +2 will be subject to satisfactory performance in the 10+1 internal examination.
The scholarship will also be given in case the eligible students take admitted in any professional/technical course after matric, in any recognized institution within or outside the state, however, it will be limited to a maximum of 2 years after matric. The renewal in the second year will be subject to satisfactory performance in the first year of the course.
Under this scholarship scheme, an amount of Rs.11000/- per year will be given to each eligible student for successive two years after matric. That the eligible students must belong to ST of HP as declared by the H.P. Government from time to time.

How to Apply TS Negi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojna 2023-24?
The eligible students will have to apply online on NSP’s official website https://scholarships.gov.in. After registration on the portal, students need to submit the scholarship application form along with the necessary certificates to the respective heads of the institution.
