Inspire Scholarship 2023: Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE)

The objective of Inspire scholarship is to find talent for the study of research at the initial stage and the main feature of the program is to not believe in conducting competitive exams to identify the talent.

The department strives to strengthen the foundation of the Department of Science and Technology base of India and launch programs with benefits in the long-term horizon.

Currently, a vast pool of talent supply is drawn more effectively by service sectors in a competitive environment. The generation of pre-competitive technologies desired from the first principles in science will form the differentiating element in knowledge-based economics.

In this endeavor, Human Resource and talent supply chain management practices from the most critical components of India enjoy a natural comparative advantage of the virtue of demography and inherited knowledge systems.

The conversion of comparative advantage into competitive strength will require carefully planned interventions. India-specific careers with research and innovation as a choice is needed.

Inspire Scholarship Scheme Details:

No. of Scholarships and Courses:

Every year a total of 12,000 scholarships will be provided for higher education. The scholarship awards are limited to the students who have passed the board of intermediate.

Only from different recognized studying courses in natural sciences/ basic sciences at 03 (three) years BSc, B.Sc (Hons), 04 (four) years BS program and 05 (five) years integrated MSc/MS program in any University Grants Commission, recognized College or University in India.

The scholarship scheme is not applicable to engineering, medicine, technology courses, and other professional/technical courses. The students are required to submit the application online only. The application will not be accepted through offline mode.

Step 1: New User Registration?

• Go to the website https://online-inspire.gov.in.
• If you are new then register first with a valid email ID.
• Then select salutation.
• Enter your first and last name.
• Select the gender and enter the date of birth.
• Enter your mobile number and email ID.
• Then enter the password of your choice.
• Select eligibility criteria and enter a verification captcha.
• Then click on the submit button.

Once you successfully completed the registration you will receive an email containing the user id, password, and verification link open up your email id and click on the verification link to activate your account.

Step 2: Important Documents to Scan:

• Passport Size Photo
• Caste Certificate
• Advisory Note
• XII (12th) Class Mark sheet
• X (10th) Class Mark sheet or Date of Birth Certificate
• The endorsement form should be signed by the principal

Step 3: Online Application

• Visit the official website https://online-inspire.gov.in.
• Login with your User Id and Password.
• Click on the scholarship link.
• Click on the apply button.
• Click on the edit button and enter the following details.
• Upload your photo.
• Enter your father’s and mother’s names.
• Upload your 10th class mark sheet or date of birth certificate.
• Upload caste certificate.
• Then click on the save button to save all the details and click next.

Enrollment Information:

• Click the edit button again.
• Select your enrolled program.
• Select your enrolled course.
• Upload endorsement form.
• Select the college or university name.
• Click on the save button to save all the details and click next.

Class XII (Senior Secondary) Information:

• Click the edit button.
• Choose your state or central board.
• Enter your roll number.
• Upload your XII (12th) class mark sheet.
• Enter your school details.
• Click on the save button to save all the details and click next.

National Level Competitive Exam Details:

• Click the edit button.
• Select the exam and rank details.
• Upload your rank certificate.
• Click on the save button to save all the details and click next.

Enter Other Details:

• Click the edit button.
• Enter your permanent address.
• Then click on the save button to save all the details then click next.
• Select the YES button if you apply or are availing of any other Scholarship or Select the NO button If you do not apply or not availing of any other scholarships.
• Select the declaration button and enter the place and date.
• Finally enter the verification captcha code and click on the submit button.
