UGC Grant Release Procedure:
The agency designated by UGC will provide the awardees with their fellowship amount just after joining. The list of agencies identified by UGC is available on their portal website. There is a requirement for an approach to the branch of the candidates with a photograph and joining report, award letter, and contact info.
The selected candidates are required to submit the continuation certificate after every three months. The progress report signed by HOD is required to be submitted after one year and the agency will see through the genuineness of the information.
Selection Procedure?
The Head of the department will be responsible for monitoring the progress. Students, who continue to study without getting UGC approval, will have to refund the amount through e-mode.
Candidates will not get an extension of years and they can accept other scholarship benefits while in this scheme. After completing the PG, they are required to submit HOD signed certificate or mark sheet.
