Promotion of Science Education (POSE) scholarship scheme is to encourage eligible and meritorious applicants towards science education and also to provide financial assistance to pursue science education to a higher level.
Students have to submit their semester mark sheet within a month of semester results. The POSE scholarship shall be given on the basis of performance in the semester. The scholars have to maintain a minimum of 60% marks. If the student fails to get 60% marks in any semester, the scholarship of the students will be discontinued.
The scholarship amount will be paid for 12 months in a year from July to next year in June. The scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the scholar’s bank accounts through online transfer. The student must have a bank account in his/her name. Students are requested to link their bank account with their Aadhaar card.
POSE scholarship will be paid for studying basic & natural science in the eighteen subjects. If any candidates are found to have availed of scholarships with false documents, his/her scholarship will be canceled and the scholarship amount will be recovered.
The POSE scholarship scheme does not include engineering, medicine, technology, and other professional or technical courses. The scholarship awards are limited number only to the applicants who have taken admission last year in the following courses.

Some selected students will get a one-time mentor-ship grant of Rs.12,000/- in 3 years BSc program, Rs.17,000/- in 4 year BS program, and Rs.22,000/- in 5 years integrated MSc program and Rs.10,000/- in 2 years MSc program.
To get the mentor-ship grant the students need to do project work under a Research Supervisor during their vacation at a recognized University.
BSc students must pass the 10th and 12th class board examinations with at least 85%.
There will be no cut-off for admission to any National Institution (IIT/IISER/NISER/IISc/DAB-CBS).
M.Sc students must be passed the 10th and 12th classes and B.Sc./B.A. from the school or university of Haryana with at least 75% marks.
Only regular students are eligible for this scholarship.
The students studying through correspondence or distance education or from any unrecognized institutes are also not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
There is no such limit on the annual income of their parents in order to apply for this scholarship scheme.
Students should not submit more than one scholarship application.
Selected applicants under this scheme should not apply for any other scholarship.
Students have to submit a certificate of not availing of any other scholarship award along with a POSE scholarship.

Students should submit the scholarship application form online from its official website. The online application form can be submitted through https://saralharyana.gov.in/ or through Atal Seva Kendra. The last date to apply POSE scholarship is 28th October 2022.
