The High Court of Himachal Pradesh is locates in Shimla, state of Himachal Pradesh the Central Govt of India has been extended jurisdiction of the Act to the Himachal Pradesh Union Territory, replacing the Court of Judicial Commissioner by the Himachal Pradesh Bench Court of Delhi High at Shimla and it started functioning in old building known as Revenswood.
On 18th Dec 1970 Himachal Pradesh State Act was passed by Parliament and the new state came into existence called Himachal Pradesh on 25th Jan in the year of 1971 and established its own High Court.
