Online Passport Application Form Status in India

You can also check your passport application status through SMS subscribe your mobile phone number and get regular progress status, pending actions and complete updates this service is valid for only passport applicants.

If you want you can also send a text SMS to know your current status of application. All you have to do is select SMS Services at the time when you submitting you pass port application but this service is not free at all for this you to pay the onetime fee of Rs. 30/- at the Passport Center or through online.

Track your passport application status by sending an SMS “STATUS GZ0123456789” to 9704100100. Once you apply your passport application wait for minimum five working days after that you can track the status online or through SMS.

Passport Seva & Visa Division:
Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India initiated the Passport Seva Portal to facilitate passport services through online. The official website allows us to apply online if you are applying for fresh passport you must first register yourself with login Id and password. Once you done with your registration you can then log into your account with the login Id and password.

How to Register Online:

• Visit the official website www.passportindia.gov.in.
• Click on Register Now button.
• Select state (as per present residential address).
• Enter name and date of birth.
• Enter a valid e-mail Id.
• Create a new login Id and check the availability.
• Create a new password and enter twice.
• Select a security question and type your own answer.
• Enter the captcha and register.

Passport Application can be submitted online in two different ways
(1) Online Form Submission
(2) e-Form Submission

How to Apply Online Form Submission:

• Visit the official website www.passportindia.gov.in.
• Click on login button.
• Enter your login and password.
• Click on “Apply Fresh or Re-issue Passport”.
• Enter the following details.
• Click on “Pay and Schedule Appointment” to make an appointment.
• Payment can be made through internet banking or credit card or debit card or SBI bank challan.
• Take printout “Application Receipt” containing (ARN) Application Reference Number.
• Visit the Passport Seva Kendra along with necessary documents.
• In case of below 4 years of age applicants please carry the passport size photo with white background.
• If the applicant not visits the PSK (Passport Seva Kendra) within period of 90 days the re-submission of application is required.

How to Apply e-Form Submission:

• Click on download the e-form at the middle of page.
• Save and download the soft copy of e-form.
• Fill the form offline and upload it online.

How to Check Appointment Availability Online:

• Visit the official website www.passportindia.gov.in.
• Select passport office of your state.
• Enter Captcha code.
• Click on check availability.

How to Track Application Status Online:

• Select application type Such as (Passport/PCC/IC, RTI, Diplomatic or Official Application, Surrender Certificate).
• Enter ARN number.
