Samaj Kalyan Vibhag Scholarship Form Online 2022-23

The main purpose of social welfare is to bring the educational and social-economic uplift of the weaker sections of society to mainstream society.

Scholarship scheme for books, fee reimbursement, technical education facilities, and bank scheme for scheduled castes/tribes under the Welfare Sector of the tribe’s various welfare schemes for the welfare of / liberated nations is being implemented which is primarily educational, have been classified under the economic, social and other programs.

Schemes run by the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag include scholarship schemes for Scheduled Castes/tribes and Vimukta castes, living below the poverty line of the general category, work related to education by voluntary organizations, and financial assistance given to them.

The scholarship will be given to those whose parents ‘ annual income is not more than Rs.2.00 lakhs from all sources. This scholarship is provided by the Government of India at the rates prescribed below.

UP is the first state in the country, where scholarship and fee reimbursement for all the students of class 9 and above is operated under an online application system. Scholarship distribution is being done online.

For the first time in the state, PFFMS has been introduced with treasury software. Digital Signature has been provided to the Social Welfare Department so that transparency and timeliness can be ensured using the PFMS system for the payment of all types of scholarships.

It extends scholarships and financial assistance to meritorious students based on academic achievements to ensure that every eligible student should access quality education.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship:

1. General and OBC scholarships provide only to those applicants whose parent’s and guardians’ annual income should be below 2 lakh rupees.
2. For SC (Schedule Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribes) scholarship provides only to those applicants whose parent and guardian annual Income should be below 2 lakh rupees.
3. The scholarship amount will be credited only directly to the student’s bank account.
4. An income proof certificate will be needed at the time of the submission of the application form.
