Only those candidates who are residents of Punjab or Union Territory of Chandigarh are eligible for seeking admission to all Undergraduate, Masters’ and MBA programmes in Punjab Agricultural University.
The candidate must carefully read instructions in the form and prospectus before filling the applying. Candidates seeking admission in programmes without Entrance Test. And also to be filled by candidates called for counselling after clearing Entrance Test.

How to Apply Entrance Test Online:
1. Applicants have to pay Rs.5640/- for each Entrance Test that includes the cost of downloaded form/Prospectus.
2. A valid unique e-mail ID is necessary for uploading each application form.
3. A clear and recent passport size colored photograph with size up to 50 KB in JPG/JPEG format and scanned copy of signature (black/blue) with size up to 50 KB are required for uploading while filling online application form.
4. After completing the application form, the candidate is required to click the ‘SUBMIT’ button.
5. A verification link will be sent to the candidate’s e-mail ID. Candidate has to click on the verification link.
6. After verification, the candidate has to login using his e-mail ID and Date of Birth in order to download/print the application form and the Bank Challan Form of Punjab National Bank. A Unique Identity (UID) number will appear on the top of application form as well as on the Challan Form.
7. After taking the printout, the candidate has to visit any branch of the above mentioned bank with the relevant Challan Form in order to deposit fee as mentioned on Challan Form.
8. After depositing the fee, the bank will return two parts of the Challan Form duly stamped with journal number. The candidate must retain the candidate’s copy of Challan Form and send the University copy of the challan form along with computer generated print-out of application form duly signed by the candidate and his/her parents/guardian and white application form along with all certificates / testimonials to The Registrar, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana 141 004 clearly mentioning the name of entrance test on the envelope before the last date of receipt of application forms.
How to Download Admit Cards (Online and Offline):
The admit card of the entrance test can be downloaded from the PAU website www.pau.edu by entering the:
Date of Birth and UID: for online applications (UID will appear on the top of application form as well as on the Bank Challan Form downloaded and printed by the candidate).
Date of Birth and Prospectus Number: for offline applicants
Offline applicants are required to sign and paste the same photograph on the admit card as pasted on the application form and get the same attested from the Principal / Gazzetted officer. All applicants must bring a photo ID proof (Driving License / PAN Card / Voter ID / Passport / Aadhar Card in original (not photocopy or scanned copy) along with downloaded admit card on the examination day, otherwise he / she will not be allowed to appear in the entrance test.
In case any applicant is not able to download his/her admit card, he/she may contact the office of the Registrar, Thapar Hall, PAU, Ludhiana, two days before the date of entrance test alongwith a copy of application form and original receipt of Bank Challan form (issued by the bank) and two passport size photographs.
Date for downloading the admit cards will be uploaded on PAU website after completing all the official formalities.
