Sitaram Jindal Foundation is also known as SJF Jindal Trust established in the year of 1969. SJF is a charitable organization with the objective of serving the poor in various fields.

Sitaram Jindal Foundation has been providing basic needs to the poor people in education, health care, and rural development field without any discrimination of religion and creed.

The SJF builds a number of schools, colleges, and hospitals besides this the organization runs many social welfare schemes and courses for the benefit of the lower class people.

SJF provides scholarship awards to more than 12000 (Twelve Thousand) students every year. Jindal Foundation extends financial support to more than 500 (Five Hundred) charitable trusts annually.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • For “A” Category Scholarship required below poverty line (BPL) Certificates.
  • For “B” Category ITI Students there is no income certificate required.
  • And for those candidates in employment with Rs. 4 Lacs per year and for others Rs.2.5 Lacs per year.
  • Candidates can apply for scholarships only once during the course.
  • Around 12000 students benefit from these scholarships each year.
  • Candidates should not avail of any other stipend from another source.
  • The Sr Jindal trust scholarship scheme will be discontinued once the candidates cross the age of 30 years.
  • Maximum no. of scholarships in ‘A’ category – Maximum five scholarships for boys students and no limit for girls students for one institution per year.
  • Maximum no. of scholarships in ‘B’ category – Maximum 10 (Ten) new scholarships for Non-BPL Students and 10 (Ten) for girls students who belong to BPL family for one institution per year.
  • For 3 years or longer duration courses, applications will not be entertained from final-year students.

How to Apply SR Jindal Scholarship Scheme Online?

Candidates who meet the criteria can apply for the scholarship at any time. However, the individual is only eligible to apply for the scholarship once over the term of their studies.

Download the application form through the official website or from the below-given link and send the application to the following address.

Documents Needed:

  • A certificate from the Head of the colleges mentioned the student is not availing of any other stipend other than this.
  • Engg and MBBS students must submit a certificate signed by the head of the college which mentioned student got admission on a merit basis.
  • For Physically Handicapped Students a certificate is required from the competent authority. Copy of marks sheet for the last year’s examination.
  • For widows & wards of ex-servicemen: PPO, ex-serviceman widow card, and relationship dependency certificate.
  • For Hostelers, a certificate is required from the warden in a prescribed form it can be downloaded from the official website.
