YSR Kapari Bandhu is launched by the state government of Andhra Pradesh. It is managed by National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). The government of Andhra Pradesh has given a thought to shepherds. It has decided to help the poor shepherds to increase their cattle. In this article, you will be given all details of the YSR Kapari Bandhu Scheme 2023. It features, eligibility, documents required, and procedure to apply.

Under this scheme, a subsidy is provided to the poor community of Shepherds. The subsidy is available on the sale and purchase of animals such as sheep or goats. This scheme mainly aims to improve the livelihood of the Golu and Kuruma communities.

The subsidy provided will be an amount of 30% of the loan or 1.5 lakhs whichever is less. This scheme has been implemented to benefit about 50,000 beneficiaries. A target has been set by the government to help 12500 beneficiaries every year. Rs. 200 crore has already been allocated by the government for the project.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must be a Permanent Resident of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Applicant must be belonging to below the poverty line category.
  • Registered members of the Golu and Kuruma communities are eligible only.
  • Applicant must have a working bank account as a shepherd, otherwise not eligible for the Scheme.
