Mysore University has one hundred and twenty-two affiliated colleges and five constituent colleges with thirty-seven pg departments and eight research centers. About fifty-five courses are offered for regular students. The University has 12 (twelve) colleges under its supervision with Twenty Eight subjects in Arts, Sci, Med, and Engineering.
The wide-ranging subjects and courses associated with them are mainly due to the par excellent infrastructure, expansive space, and exhaustive research material in form of books, journals, and articles. Apart from the university library and Graduate library, there are e-books, digitized research work, and an online reference section.
Mysore University takes good care of the students who come over from different parts of the country to attend lectures on a particular course. There is a swimming pool, Internet facilities, cafeteria, and amphitheater. There is also an auditorium that hosts many cultural activities.
