TS NMMS (National Means cum Merit) Scholarship Exam 2022-23
Telangana State National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (TS NMMS) for the year 2022-23 for class VIII will be conducted in Telugu medium/ English medium/ Hindi medium and Urdu medium. Online scholarship applications are invited for the NMMS examination from the official website bse.telangana.gov.in.
User guidelines to register the scholarship application of the candidates online and to pay the examination fee online through the State Bank of India collect and to take a printout of registered applications and nominal rolls. Instructions, last date, and general guidelines of the NMMS scheme are available on the bse.telangana.gov.in website.
Under this scheme, the candidates studying 8th class during the academic year 2022-23 are eligible to apply. The scholarship will be given to the selected candidates from the 9th to 12th class at Rs.12000/- per annum if the student satisfies the eligibility criteria.
The main objective of the NMMS scheme is to offer merit candidates who are studying in Government Schools/ Zilla Parishad / Private model schools which have no residential facility. Whose parents’ annual income is below 1,50,000 rupees to encourage 7th class dropouts to continue their education till 12th class.
NMMS written test for 7th class studying students will be conducted soon and exam results will be published later online at BSE Telangana official portal. Students must check the eligibility conditions before applying online. Attested copies of certificates shall be enclosed with the printout of applications and nominal rolls.

Eligibility Criteria for TS NMMS:
- The student who scored a minimum of 55% marks in the case of SC/ST 50% marks or equivalent grade for all categories in the class 8 examination studied during the previous year.
- Students who are studying in Govt. School/ Zilla Parishad / Private model schools which have no residential facility only can apply.
- Students whose parent’s/guardian’s yearly income is below 1,50,000 rupees from all sources.
- Students having less than 40% disability and PH certificates issued by reservation.
Reservation:
State reservation rules will be implemented for the scholarship award in every district.

The examination fee has to be remitted online only through the system of SBI collect which is linked with the online application.

Exam Pattern:
It comprises 2 parts that cover the 7th & 8th classes of social, sciences, and maths.
- Mental Ability Test (MAT)
- Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
It will have 90 (ninety) multiple-choice questions and each question will be of 1 mark.
Merit List:
A merit list of students will be prepared for each district separately. The minimum qualifying marks for each paper will be 40% for general, 35% for the BC category, and 25% for SC/ST/physically disabled students to become eligible for the award of scholarship. How to Apply for TS NMMS Exam 2022-23 Online?
Interested and eligible students may apply online from bse.telangana.gov.in official website. To apply:
STEP 1:
- Visit bse.telangana.gov.in.
- Then click on the NMMS link on the left side of the web page.
- Then click on Application for NMMS 2022-23.
- Enter your UDISE Code in the both UDISE Code & Password fields.
- Once login, read the instructions and click on the “If You Agreed to Proceed to Next” button.
- Fill in your details as your school records.
- Then upload your photo with a duly signed, income certificate, caste certificates (SC/ST/BC), and
and medical certificates if handicapped students. - After entering your details, click on Submit Application button.
- Then take a printout of your application.
- To take a printout click on the Report tab and then click on the “PDF” link.
- Check & confirm all the details you have entered.
STEP 2:
- To pay the exam fee click on the SBI Collect button in the menu above.
- Then click the check box and proceed button for payment.
- Here select the State of the Corporate/Institution as Telangana.
- Type of Corporate/ Institute as Government Department.
- Then click on the Go button.
- Here again, select the Director of Government Exams TS and click on submit button.
- Then select Payment Category as “TS-NMMS-EXAMINATION-FEE 2022-23.
- Enter all the required details and click on submit button.
- Then choose the payment mode credit card or debit card.
- Enter your card details and make the payment.
- And finally, download the receipt and take a printout.

Then submit the application forms, and nominal roll (in two sets) duly attested by the Head Master/Principal of the school should be submitted to the concerned District Educational Officer along with the attested copies of the caste certificate, income certificate, 7th class mark sheet, medical certificates (in case of physically disabled students).

Every year the Karnataka State Government provides post-matric scholarships for all eligible students through the ePass application. It is one of the most important welfare measures initiated by the Karnataka Backward Class Welfare Department. The main aim is the educational upliftment of poor students.
Currently, the Backward Classes Welfare Department has a separate Commission, continuing programs to provide backward classes with social justice, educational incentives, and financial assistance to the community.
With the last date for application approaching, students are encouraged to avail of this opportunity to further their education. The scholarship covers tuition fees, maintenance allowance, and more, easing the burden on students and their families.

Kar Epass Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants who belong to SC and ST categories and whose parent’s income is not more than Rs.2 lakhs per annum from all sources are eligible to apply.
- Those belonging to Backward Class (BC), Extremely Backward Class (EBC), and Disabled whose parent’s income is not more than Rs.1 lakhs per annum from all sources are eligible for kar epass scholarship.
- Students with a minimum of 75% attendance are eligible to apply to the scheme.
- Applicants who are studying post-matric in college are recognized by the Karnataka State Govt.
- Students admitted under any sponsored quota or management quota seats are not eligible.
- Students who are pursuing part-time or online courses are not eligible for the scheme.
- Economically Backward Class students studying inter or any equivalent courses.
How to Apply for Karnataka Scholarship Application Online?
Applications invited from eligible backward classes students studying post-graduate courses for 2023-24 scholarship applications online. So, students are requested to apply for fresh and renewal applications on or before last date.
Students are required to apply online only through its Karepass official portal website. To do this:
- Go to this website https://karepass.cgg.gov.in.
- Click on the “Apply Online” button.
- Select “Fresh” or “Renewal” registrations.
- Enter all the required fields like DOB, Hall ticket number, SSLC pass certificate, etc.
- Upload all the necessary required documents.
- Then you may click on the Submit button.

Kalpana Chawla Scholarship Scheme (Chatravriti Yojana) 2023-24
The Government of Himachal Pradesh provides Kalpana Chawla Chhatravriti Yojana or also known as the Kalpana Chawla scholarship scheme for the top meritorious girl students of Himachal Pradesh state in order to inspire them for higher education.

It is to inform all the eligible students that the HP e-Pass portal reopens for the Kalpana Chawla scholarship scheme and other schemes for the academic year 2023-24 for fresh/renewal applicants. No application form would be entertained after the last date.
Under this scheme, an amount of Rs.15000/- (Fifteen Thousand) will be provided to the student per year. It will be given strictly on 10+2 merit declared as such by the H.P Board of School Education, Dharamshala to the students of Government / Government Aided / Private schools affiliated with the H.P. Board of School Education.
Scholarships will be awarded to the girl students who take admitted as regular students in any recognized post 10+2, academic, professional, or technical course from any government-aided or recognized private institution for its full term subject to satisfactory performance each year.
The scholarship will be renewed and carried on till they complete the degree/diploma/certificate course. All the eligible students will have to apply online and submit the application along with a 10+2 certificate, the next successive passing class/ diploma certificate/admission certificate directly to the Director of Higher Education.

How to Apply for Kalpana Chawla Scholarship 2023-24?
- All eligible and meritorious Students can register on the portal by using the link https://scholarships.gov.in.
- After registration on the portal, students may apply for the scheme.
- Students also need to submit the printout of the online application form along with all the necessary certificates directly to the head of the institute.
- Students must submit the previous year’s mark sheet (both semesters) for renewal application and a 10+2 mark sheet for fresh registration.
- Printout copies of all documents uploaded must be submitted at the academic branch.
- The income certificate should be in the name of the parents and the certificate should not be older than one year.
- 2024 is the last date to apply online at the NSP portal.
Scholarship Renewal:
The scholarship award will be renewed every year till the completion of the degree/diploma/certificate course. For renewal, students must upload the latest bank statement of the bank passbook and should submit the receipt of the previous session to the academic branch.

Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana (Scholarship Scheme) 2023-24
Himachal Pradesh is pleased to notify the following guidelines for the implementation of the scholarship of Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chhatravriti Yojna for 2023-24 in the H.P. Education department.
This scholarship will be awarded to the top 100 female and 100 male students who belong to the tribal community of Himachal Pradesh by the H.P. board of school education, strictly on the basis of merit 10+1 and 10+2 classes in a recognized institution within or outside the state. The renewal in +2 will be subject to satisfactory performance in the 10+1 internal examination.
The scholarship will also be given in case the eligible students take admitted in any professional/technical course after matric, in any recognized institution within or outside the state, however, it will be limited to a maximum of 2 years after matric. The renewal in the second year will be subject to satisfactory performance in the first year of the course.
Under this scholarship scheme, an amount of Rs.11000/- per year will be given to each eligible student for successive two years after matric. That the eligible students must belong to ST of HP as declared by the H.P. Government from time to time.

How to Apply TS Negi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojna 2023-24?
The eligible students will have to apply online on NSP’s official website https://scholarships.gov.in. After registration on the portal, students need to submit the scholarship application form along with the necessary certificates to the respective heads of the institution.
The heads of the institution will then forward the duly filled application form to the Director of Higher Education before the date notified by him in this regard.
