Pre-matric and post-matric scholarships are one of the most important welfare measures of the Tripura Govt their aim is the educational upliftment of students who are economically weak or below the poverty line.
The scholarship is very much helpful for those students who belong to the weaker sections. This scholarship is like an incentive and encouragement for eligible and talented students who do not have the means to study more.
The ministry provides national scholarships as well as external scholarships to eligible and deserving students. Every year Government of Tripura provide scholarship for students whose parent annual income is much less.
The government of Tripura state is offering PMS scholarship for all eligible students anybody who are eligible and interested they people can apply for the scholarship before the last date.
NSP invites the online registration for 9th class, 10th class, intermediate students, undergraduate students, postgraduate courses students for renewal of fresh post metric scholarship application for the present academic year.
The NSP portal enables the online application, renewal, transfer of scholarship money directly to the scholarship holders who are eligible and below the poverty line, for tuition fee reimbursement and maintenance fees after the verification’s into their bank accounts.

Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must possess a genuine qualification from any recognized board.
- An original certificate from the institute should be produced by the student.
- The maximum number of marks for the grant of scholarship should be 75% (Seventy Five Percent) for General /OBC/MOBC category candidates and 60% (Sixty) for SC/ST category candidates.
- Selection of students forms M.Phil. And Ph.D. should be done on the basis of the topic of research that has relevance to the N.E. Region.
- Selection will be made on the basis of merit in all cases.
- The allowance and book grants will be given only to permanent resident students of North East States. Students should obtain a permanent resident proof certificate from the Dy. Commissioner of the concerned district.
- Students should not obtain the PRC from any other authority as it will not be accepted. However, for scheduled caste / scheduled tribe students the certificate of SC/St can be considered as the permanent resident proof certificate.
- The candidates should not be avail of any other scholarship from any other scheme except National Merit Scholarship or State Merit Scholarship.
- Financial support of stipends and book grants shall be admissible to candidates taking admission in the specified courses in all institutes/colleges recognized by the MHRD.
- The stipend and book grants shall be tenable till the duration of a course. If the student failed in a particular year he or she will not receive a stipend till he or she passes out.
Eligibility for Post Matric Scholarship Scheme:
- Only those candidates who belong to Scheduled Castes so specified in relation to the State/Union Territory.
- Students who completed their educational career in such a profession as L.L.B. after B.T./B.Ed. will not be eligible.
- Students pursuing post-graduate courses in medicine will be eligible.
- Students who pursue their studies through correspondence courses are also eligible.

Colleges/Institutes recognized by concerned Councils of Govt. of India.
Eligible Courses:
The several courses of studies at different levels for that NEC´s financial support are admissible. It will decide the NECs from time to time. The subjects for MPhil and Ph.D. should invariably be directly and currently relevant to the NE Region.
The stipends for MPhil will be available starting for Eighteen months and can be extended by a period of more than six months and for Ph.D., stipends shall be starting for 3 years and can be extended by one more year maximum.
Reasons for Rejection:
- Ineligible caste
- Non-submission of caste
- Incorrect courses and the year of study
- Non-submission of certificate
- Discontinued or any debarred students (renewals)
- Claiming the scholarship for the same level courses
- Last sanction verification for the renewal of the scholarship
- If you are not the bonafide student

How to Apply for Tripura EPASS Scholarship Online?
- Visit the Official Website http://tripuraepass.cgg.gov.in.
- Click Apply Online.
- Select Scheme “NEC SCHEME” or “Post Matric ST SCHEME”.
- The New Page with Application Form will open.
- If you are applying for the first time select fresh.
- Select the level of study i.e. Degree, Diploma, PG, PG Diploma, Ph.D., or MPhil.
- Enter your first name, surname, father, and mother’s name.
- Select the gender, category, year, date of birth, and Aadhaar card number.
- Enter the permanent address, mobile number, and email ID.
- Select Yes if your correspondence address is the same as the permanent address or select No.
- Name of qualifying examination passed, total marks, and marks obtained in percentage.
- Now select Yes if you studying in Tripura or select No.
- Enter City/Town/Village name and pin code.
- Select course name and year.
- Enter the date of admission, commencement, and completion of the course.
- Now enter the bank account details.

Every year the Karnataka State Government provides post-matric scholarships for all eligible students through the ePass application. It is one of the most important welfare measures initiated by the Karnataka Backward Class Welfare Department. The main aim is the educational upliftment of poor students.
Currently, the Backward Classes Welfare Department has a separate Commission, continuing programs to provide backward classes with social justice, educational incentives, and financial assistance to the community.
With the last date for application approaching, students are encouraged to avail of this opportunity to further their education. The scholarship covers tuition fees, maintenance allowance, and more, easing the burden on students and their families.

Kar Epass Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants who belong to SC and ST categories and whose parent’s income is not more than Rs.2 lakhs per annum from all sources are eligible to apply.
- Those belonging to Backward Class (BC), Extremely Backward Class (EBC), and Disabled whose parent’s income is not more than Rs.1 lakhs per annum from all sources are eligible for kar epass scholarship.
- Students with a minimum of 75% attendance are eligible to apply to the scheme.
- Applicants who are studying post-matric in college are recognized by the Karnataka State Govt.
- Students admitted under any sponsored quota or management quota seats are not eligible.
- Students who are pursuing part-time or online courses are not eligible for the scheme.
- Economically Backward Class students studying inter or any equivalent courses.
How to Apply for Karnataka Scholarship Application Online?
Applications invited from eligible backward classes students studying post-graduate courses for 2023-24 scholarship applications online. So, students are requested to apply for fresh and renewal applications on or before last date.
Students are required to apply online only through its Karepass official portal website. To do this:
- Go to this website https://karepass.cgg.gov.in.
- Click on the “Apply Online” button.
- Select “Fresh” or “Renewal” registrations.
- Enter all the required fields like DOB, Hall ticket number, SSLC pass certificate, etc.
- Upload all the necessary required documents.
- Then you may click on the Submit button.

Kalpana Chawla Scholarship Scheme (Chatravriti Yojana) 2023-24
The Government of Himachal Pradesh provides Kalpana Chawla Chhatravriti Yojana or also known as the Kalpana Chawla scholarship scheme for the top meritorious girl students of Himachal Pradesh state in order to inspire them for higher education.

All Government / Government aided colleges to invite scholarship application forms from the top and talented 2000 meritorious students of all study groups such as Science, Arts, and Commerce streams of their colleges, based on passing marks in each group and as per the merit list provided by Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.

It is to inform all the eligible students that the HP e-Pass portal reopens for the Kalpana Chawla scholarship scheme and other schemes for the academic year 2023-24 for fresh/renewal applicants. No application form would be entertained after the last date.
Under this scheme, an amount of Rs.15000/- (Fifteen Thousand) will be provided to the student per year. It will be given strictly on 10+2 merit declared as such by the H.P Board of School Education, Dharamshala to the students of Government / Government Aided / Private schools affiliated with the H.P. Board of School Education.
Scholarships will be awarded to the girl students who take admitted as regular students in any recognized post 10+2, academic, professional, or technical course from any government-aided or recognized private institution for its full term subject to satisfactory performance each year.
The scholarship will be renewed and carried on till they complete the degree/diploma/certificate course. All the eligible students will have to apply online and submit the application along with a 10+2 certificate, the next successive passing class/ diploma certificate/admission certificate directly to the Director of Higher Education.

How to Apply for Kalpana Chawla Scholarship 2023-24?
- All eligible and meritorious Students can register on the portal by using the link https://scholarships.gov.in.
- After registration on the portal, students may apply for the scheme.
- Students also need to submit the printout of the online application form along with all the necessary certificates directly to the head of the institute.
- Students must submit the previous year’s mark sheet (both semesters) for renewal application and a 10+2 mark sheet for fresh registration.
- Printout copies of all documents uploaded must be submitted at the academic branch.
- The income certificate should be in the name of the parents and the certificate should not be older than one year.
- 2024 is the last date to apply online at the NSP portal.
Scholarship Renewal:
The scholarship award will be renewed every year till the completion of the degree/diploma/certificate course. For renewal, students must upload the latest bank statement of the bank passbook and should submit the receipt of the previous session to the academic branch.

Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana (Scholarship Scheme) 2023-24
Himachal Pradesh is pleased to notify the following guidelines for the implementation of the scholarship of Thakur Sen Negi Utkrisht Chhatravriti Yojna for 2023-24 in the H.P. Education department.
This scholarship will be awarded to the top 100 female and 100 male students who belong to the tribal community of Himachal Pradesh by the H.P. board of school education, strictly on the basis of merit 10+1 and 10+2 classes in a recognized institution within or outside the state. The renewal in +2 will be subject to satisfactory performance in the 10+1 internal examination.
The scholarship will also be given in case the eligible students take admitted in any professional/technical course after matric, in any recognized institution within or outside the state, however, it will be limited to a maximum of 2 years after matric. The renewal in the second year will be subject to satisfactory performance in the first year of the course.
Under this scholarship scheme, an amount of Rs.11000/- per year will be given to each eligible student for successive two years after matric. That the eligible students must belong to ST of HP as declared by the H.P. Government from time to time.

How to Apply TS Negi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojna 2023-24?
The eligible students will have to apply online on NSP’s official website https://scholarships.gov.in. After registration on the portal, students need to submit the scholarship application form along with the necessary certificates to the respective heads of the institution.
The heads of the institution will then forward the duly filled application form to the Director of Higher Education before the date notified by him in this regard.
