In 2022-2023, Zoho Corporation, Vembu’s company, generated a profit of more than Rs 2,700 crore. Despite holding over 80 percent of the company’s stake and being the 55th richest person in India, Vembu opted for philanthropy and charity rather than indulging in luxury. In 2005, Vembu established the Zoho School, an ed-tech company that provides skill and upskill training.
