Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki Gets a Standing ovation at Censor Board Screening in UAE
Shahrukh Khan is the king not only of Bollywood but also of the heartthrob of fans. King Khan is all set to deliver 3rd blockbuster of the year 2023 with his upcoming movie Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. SRK’s Dunki movie received a standing ovation during the Censor Board screening at Vox Cinemas in UAE.
The Dubai-based cinema chain enthusiastically confirmed the standing ovation for Shah Rukh Khan’s starrer “Dunki” at the Censor screening. “Dunki” is a delightful blend of comedy and drama, representing the inaugural collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and the accomplished director Rajkumar Hirani, known for his blockbuster creations such as the Munna Bhai series, PK, 3 Idiots, and Sanju. The film boasts a stellar cast including Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, and Taapsee Pannu in pivotal roles, and the screenplay is a collaborative effort by Hirani, Abhijat Joshi, and Kanika Dhillon.
The excitement surrounding “Dunki” reached new heights as Vox Cinemas took to social media to share the news of the standing ovation during the Censor screening. Bollywood Actor Govinda Injured in Accidental Shooting
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Govinda (age 60) was accidentally shot in the leg while handling his own licensed revolver early Tuesday morning (around 4:45 AM). The incident occurred when he was placing the revolver in a cupboard at his residence. A bullet misfired, hitting his leg. He was alone at home during the incident.
After the accident, Govinda was rushed to Criti Care Hospital in Andheri, where the bullet was removed through surgery. He is currently out of danger. His daughter Tina (Narmada) is at his side at the hospital, while his wife, Sunita Ahuja, was away in Jaipur at the time of the accident.
DCP Dixit Gedam confirmed to Dainik Bhaskar that the incident appears to be an accident, and no complaint has been filed. Mumbai Police has seized Govinda’s revolver for investigation purposes and visited his house on the day of the accident. Despite initial blood loss, Govinda’s condition has stabilised, and he is recovering well.
The accident occurred at 4:45 AM on Tuesday. Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, was away on a pilgrimage to Baba Khatushyam Temple in Jaipur during the incident. She was informed of the event around 5 AM. Govinda’s statement: In an audio message, the actor assured, “I am fine now, the bullet was fired.
