Apply Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Yojana 2022-23 for Girl’s Students

Many talented girls in Madhya Pradesh belonging to the urban below the poverty line want to continue higher education but lack of funds becomes a dream for them.

Higher education not only literate and makes students skilled, but also makes the person self-sustain. MP is among the most significant states of India where the state government is dedicated to higher and quality education.

For the past 10 decades, the Department of Higher Education Madhya Pradesh implemented a number of scholarship and welfare schemes for the benefit of the people who live in BPL (below the poverty line).

This scheme has been started by the government in the year 2007-08, in which the BPL cardholders of the first class from the municipal area are eligible to apply.

Initially, the amount of scholarship was 300 rupees per year, which has been increased from the year 2009-10 to Rs. 5000/- per student per annum. Many girl students have benefited under this Pratibha Kiran Yojana.

The objective of the Scheme:

A family living below the poverty line (BPL) may have brilliant children, but these children may not study higher education because of their financial condition. Their parents do not have such an amount that they provide them with higher qualifications.

The main objective of the Pratibha Kiran scholarship scheme is to support and improve the academic standards of female students belonging to urban below-poverty-line (BPL) families, and who have passed their UP Board Intermediate (12th) examination in the first class and she also needs to take admission in higher classes the same academic year.

Every girl student covered under the Pratibha Kiran scholarship scheme will be given Rs.5000/- per annum (Rs.500/- pm for 10 months) to pursue degree courses and Rs.7500/- per annum (Rs.750 per for 10 months) for any technical and medical courses.

Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship Scheme

Students are required to apply online only through the MP state scholarship portal in order to take benefit of Pratibha Kiran Yojna for the academic year 2022-23.

Eligibility Criteria:

The student must secure 60% or above marks in the intermediate examination.
Students who reside in the urban area of Madhya Pradesh state.
Up to Rs.5000/- per annum will be given to the eligible girl student for financial assistance.

How to Apply for Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Yojana?

SC / ST / OBC / General Students may have to register themselves on the MP state scholarship portal 2.0.
After the registration students need to apply online by logging in with the applicant ID and password on the portal.
Fill out the application form correctly by providing all the details as per certificates for the benefit of the scheme.
