Har Ghar Tiranga: Hoist the National Flag & Download Certificate

On July 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the initiative name Har Ghar Tiranga for Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, which would run from August 13 to 15 August. The purpose of the campaign is to instill a sense of patriotism in the public and raise awareness of our national flag.

The National Flag or Tiranga of India is a symbol and pride for the entire country. Our relationship with the National flag has never been personal so, in this 75th year of independence bringing the Tiranga home will not only attach personally but also shows our commitment to nation-building.

Due to the approaching Independence Day, the Indians are looking to buy the national flag. If you also want to hoist the national flag on your house on the 15th of August 2022, then you can buy the flag from the nearest post office.

To celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav all the post offices have been selling flags. Besides Post offices, the Tricolor is also available on Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, and other popular eCommerce websites. Or you can even hoist a flag virtually by pinning the flag at your location on the map to mark your contribution.

How to Register for Har Ghar Tiranga?

• You can order the flag online.
• You can buy the flag from the Govt. website or from the eCommerce website online.
• Or you can even visit your nearest Post office and buy.
• In either case, you have to collect the flag and hoist it at your home.

Hoist A Flag Virtually & Download Certificate:

• Visit the official website https://harghartiranga.com.
• Tap on the “Pin a Flag” button.
• Tap on a Pin a Flag.
• Login with Gmail or enter your details.
• Enable your phone’s location.
• Finally, pin a flag in your location.
• Once you successfully flag the pin you can download the certificate.

How to Put Tiranga as Your Profile Picture on Social Media?

• Visit the Facebook/Instagram official website.
• Login to your account.
• Go to Amrit Mahotsav FB or Insta page.
• Tap on the link in the bio.
• Press record and tap on the screen to raise the flag.
• Post your stories and reels with #HarGharTiranga.
• Take the screenshot and use it as your profile picture.

How to Put Tiranga as Your Profile Picture on Twitter?

• Visit the Twitter official website.
• Login to your account.
• Go to your profile.
• Tap on the “Edit Profile” button.
• Choose your picture with “Tiranga” and Save.

Record Video of Singing National Anthem:

You can also record your video singing Jan Gan Man our National Anthem and you will be shown live on Independence day 15th August 2022.

• To record your video visit the Rashtragaan website https://rashtragaan.in.
• Tap on the proceed button.
• Enter your details & Tap on the “Let’s Sing” button.
• Stand and record your video of singing the national anthem.
• Then upload the recorded video.
• And download the certificate.

Har Ghar Tiranga Quiz:

In this 75th year of independence, Culture Ministry is organizing a Quiz on the MyGov website, where all of India can participate. The quiz is all about our National Flag.

You have to answer 5 questions in one minute (60 seconds). You need to enter your full name, email ID, phone number, and address.
