The Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh introduces a number of scholarship schemes for the betterment of the people of MP who lives below the poverty line.
The objective of the Gaon ki Beti Yojana (scheme) is to provide financial help to motivate talented rural girls to higher education. Under the scheme, Rs.500/- per month scholarship is given for a total of 10 months to rural girls, who pass the 10+2 examination in the first division from a school in a rural region in M.P.
There are many young and talented girls in every village of Madhya Pradesh. They wanted to pursue further studies after completing their 12th class exam, but unfortunately, they cannot do so since all the colleges are located in the cities and their parents are not financially stable to spend on their education.
As a result, Gaon ki Beti Yojana has been introduced by the Department of Higher Education and the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Now so many rural girls are fulfilling their dreams and pursuing their education by taking benefit of this scheme from so many villages.
Students are requested to apply online through the MP official scholarship portal https://scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in in order to take benefit of Gaon ki Beti Yojana for the academic year 2022-23.

Girl students are getting scholarships under different governments. This scholarship is promoting girls’ education. 21% of girl students have been increased from villages because of the Gaon ki Beti scholarship scheme. Today girls from all over India are getting the benefits of scholarships and making their future bright.
The girl has to secure at least 60% or more marks in the class 12th exam.
The girl must reside in a rural area of MP (village daughter certificate).
Up to 5000 students can take advantage of this scheme.

All the girl students from SC, ST, OBC, and General categories may apply online through the MP State Scholarship portal scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in by logging in with your registration ID.
This is a scholarship yojana by the MP state Govt. in which the girl’s students get financial assistance to continue their studies after the 12th exam.
How much amount is given in this Yojana?
Under this Yojana girl students get Rs.5000/- (Rs.500/- per month) for 10 months.
