Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University is commonly known as BRAOU and it is located in Telangana State, Hyderabad city. Ambedkar University was established in 1982. Ambedkar University offering quality education from past so many years. It is maintained and funded by the State government of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University has 206 (Two Hundred and Six) study centers all over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh the University has only one aim and one motto “Education at Your Doorstep”. BRAOU follows self-learning, print material, multi-media teaching, video and audio lessons, and even broadcast lessons through all-India radio.
The BRAOU system is very flexible and reliable in terms of new admission, age limit, teaching and learning methods, and all other programs. It is a very great help and a very useful alternative way to continue their studies for those who missed higher education.
