AP Tailors Scheme: Eligibility, Documents Required, How to Apply?

The Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has established this idea of the Tailors Scheme. It is also known as YS Navodayam Scheme. It is launched to financially help out the people of the state who carry out small, medium, or micro-level business on their own risk or capital. Assistance will be provided to businesses that undertake these services:

• Tailors
• Barbers
• Weavers

The government will office financial assistance to MSMEs from becoming non-performing assets. According to data, approx. 86000 MSMEs were identified which required govt help to Sustain. Eligible candidates will be given Rs. 10,000/- which can be used in business investment. The aim of the Scheme is to motivate small marginal businessmen to continue their business and help in the economy of the state.

AP Tailors Scheme Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
• Should be working as Tailors, Barbers, and weavers.
• A servant at MSME is also eligible.
• Belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) population.
• Must possess an Aadhar card, Ration card, and a working Bank account.

Note: All the BC community people who are involved in the profession of tailoring having a permanent establishment or mobile establishment are eligible for getting financial assistance. They should be in the Below Poverty Line Category and should have a white Ration Card. They should have a registered shop.

Documents Required:

Interested applicants must provide these documents along with the application form.

• Identity Proof such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter Identity Card, or Driving Licence
• Address proof such as Aadhar Card, Utility Bill, Property Tax Payment Bill, or Legal Passport
• Below Poverty Line Certificate
• Income Certificate of Family
• Passport Size Photographs
• Bank Account Details
• White Ration Card

Procedure to Apply for AP Tailors Scheme Online:

• Visit the official website.
• Login using your ID and Password.
• Click on the “Application Form” option.
• Fill in the form with accurate information.
• Attach all the documents.
• Click on “Submit”

Procedure to Search Eligibility List under the Scheme 2023:

• Visit the official website.
• Click on the ‘Know Your Secretariat’ option available at the top of the website.
• A list of districts appears before you. It shows five columns with serial number, district, urban, rural, and a link.
• Click on the link of the district you belong to.
• You will be redirected to a Mandal list.
• search for your mandal and click on the link given.
• Now the list of secretariat names and GP names will be presented before you.
