How to Apply for Free 3-Wheeler Scooter Scheme in Andhra Pradesh?

Andhra Pradesh (AP) Government free 3-wheeler scooter scheme for Differently Abled Person.

Disability is not a barrier to success. If one has positivity and confidence in oneself. He/she can achieve anything. To help differently-able people to achieve their dreams, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has come up with a decision to distribute free three-wheelers. In this article, you will find all the information about the scheme.

All the differently abled people from any category can apply for the Scheme. Anyone who has applied previously and whose application got rejected can also apply again. The beneficiary must have at least 70% disability and should not have their own vehicle. Registration for Three wheeler scooters will be starting soon on the official website.

Reservation for the sanction of free three-wheeler scooters is equally divided into male and female categories. Male-50%, Female-50%, SC-16%, ST-7%, General-77%. In case, eligible candidates are not available in the SC category, the units shall be allotted to SC and Vice Versa. In case, eligible candidates are not available in the women category, the units shall be allotted to Men and Vice Versa.

Features of the Scheme:

• The primary feature of the scheme is to distribute free three-wheelers to differently-abled people, which will help them in their daily lives.
• To motivate them to take part in the betterment of the society.
• To empower them to step into the self-employment industry.
• The government wants to show its support and effort to bring equality to society.
• To help the financial and social status of differently able people.
• Around 2500 people will benefit from the Scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for Free 3-Wheeler Scheme:

• Must be a Permanent Resident of Andhra Pradesh.
• Persons aged between 18 to 45.
• Must not own any vehicle.
• A person with locomotive disabilities with both/single lower limbs affected with 70% disability or above.
• Bonafide students studying graduation or above courses regularly.
• Self-employed/ Salary employed for a minimum 1 year period with 10th class pass.
• The annual income of a family less than Rs. 3,00,000/-
• Should be eligible for grant of valid driving license of two wheeler motorcycle under motor vehicle act 1988.
• Must acquire a valid driving license for driving the adopted vehicle prior to two months before the date of selection.
• Beneficiaries who have applied previously and have not been sanctioned so far can apply again.

Documents Required:

• Aadhar Card
• SSLC or any other higher qualifications certificate.
• Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST)
• SADAREM Certificate (issued by District Medical Board)
• Latest Income Certificate
• Passport-size photographs (full person)
• Bonafide certificate from the institution, he/she is studying in.
• Self/Wage/Salary Employment from the concerned MPDO/ Municipal Commissioner.
• Self-declaration that he/she has not availed the benefit of a three-wheeler vehicle.

How to Apply AP Free 3-Wheeler Scheme:

The Managing Director, of APDASCAC, will send a notification inviting applications for the scheme. Applications shall be received from eligible applicants online only. An online application has to be filled out and submitted. The application will be then shortlisted district-wise as per the eligibility criteria and submitted to the district collector.
