To help differently-able people to achieve their dreams, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has come up with a decision to distribute free three-wheelers. All the differently abled people from any category can apply for the Scheme. Anyone who has applied previously and whose application got rejected can also apply again. The beneficiary must have at least 70% disability and should not have their own vehicle. Registration for Three wheeler scooters will be starting soon on the official website.
Reservation for the sanction of free three-wheeler scooters is equally divided into male and female categories. Male-50%, Female-50%, SC-16%, ST-7%, General-77%. In case, eligible candidates are not available in the SC category, the units shall be allotted to SC and Vice Versa. In case, eligible candidates are not available in the women category, the units shall be allotted to Men and Vice Versa.
Bonafide certificate from the institution, he/she is studying in.
Self/Wage/Salary Employment from the concerned MPDO/ Municipal Commissioner.
Self-declaration that he/she has not availed the benefit of a three-wheeler vehicle.
How to Apply AP Free 3-Wheeler Scheme:
The Managing Director, of APDASCAC, will send a notification inviting applications for the scheme. Applications shall be received from eligible applicants online only. An online application has to be filled out and submitted. The application will be then shortlisted district-wise as per the eligibility criteria and submitted to the district collector.

The Namo Drone Didi scheme provides 15,000 women-led Self Help Groups (SHGs) with agricultural drones and training to perform tasks such as crop monitoring, fertilizer spraying, and seed sowing.
The scheme is a collaborative effort involving the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Rural Development, and the Department of Fertilizers to ensure holistic interventions and efficient implementation.
The selection of eligible SHGs and feasible clusters is based on criteria to maximize the impact of the scheme, with financial assistance and loans provided to the SHGs for drone purchases.
Lead Fertilizer Companies act as intermediaries, procuring drones and transferring ownership to the SHGs, while also promoting the use of Nano Fertilizers.

The Government of India launched the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (Prime Minister’s Solar Home: Free Electricity Scheme) on February 13, 2024. The objective of this scheme is to install rooftop solar power plants in one crore (10 million) households across the country. The total financial outlay for this initiative is Rs. 75,021 crore (approximately $10.3 billion).
