All India Council for Technical Education Scholarships (AICTE) invites applications for the Pragati scholarship scheme to provide financial assistance and support girl children to pursue technical education

This initiative aims to provide young women the chance to advance their education, thus enabling them to prepare for a prosperous future and fostering empowerment through technical education.
Students admitted to AICTE-approved universities or institutes for a degree or diploma course in the present year are eligible to apply for the Pragati scholarship scheme for girl students online from AICTE’s official website https://www.aicte-pragati-saksham-gov.in.
Only 2 girl children from the same family are eligible.
Family income must be less than 8 lakhs rupees PA.
Admitted to All India Council for Technical Education approved institutions programs or courses of Diploma and Undergraduate Degree Level.
Only students are admitted in the first year of the academic year.
No. of Scholarships:
Under this scheme, a total of 5,000 scholarships are set aside each year. These scholarships are intended for students pursuing either the first year of a degree-level course or entering the second year of a degree-level course through lateral entry in any of the institutions approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Scholarship Amount:
Each selected student is eligible to receive an amount of Rs. 50,000 per annum for every year of their study. This financial support is provided for a maximum of four years for students admitted in the first year of their degree course and a maximum of three years for students admitted in the second year through lateral entry.
How to Apply for the Pragati Scholarship Online?
Students who have already been admitted to technical programs and courses in AICTE-approved institutions during 2023-24 in the first year can apply online through AICTE’s login official website https://www.aicte-pragati-saksham-gov.in.
Go to the website and log in. The duly filled-in form is complete in all respects along with scanned attested copies of the academic certificates and submits it online.
